The concept of difference, being unique, familiarity and all depends on the scale that we use. Only if the scale is kept at a 'lower' level we could say and use these words; then only it would have meaning.
If at all, if we increase the scale all these words would diminish in the increased scaling factor.
Same applies to intelligence, experience, knowledge, the depth to which we know others, ability, confidence everything would be diminished.
We just escape from everything by just decreasing the scale.
